A LETTER FROM OUR CEOs
Dear YERSE community,
We would like to share a very important milestone for the company: YERSE IS NOW A CERTIFIED B CORPORATION. This international certification evaluates business practices and the commitment to transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
Today, there are around 8,000 Certified B Corporations worldwide. In Spain, there are approximately 260 companies, representing a very small proportion of the country's business landscape. In the fashion industry, the number is even more limited: only a handful of brands have successfully completed this process.
B Corp certification is not declarative. It requires companies to undergo a rigorous assessment based on more than 200 indicators covering governance, environmental impact, working conditions, traceability, supply chain and business model. It also requires companies to legally embed their social and environmental commitment and to renew the certification every three years.
Being part of this community means meeting measurable and verifiable standards, not simply making voluntary commitments. For us, it represents the formal recognition of a way of doing things that has been part of YERSE since 1964: responsibility, traceability and commitment to the people behind the project.
As we begin this new chapter, we would like to be guided by two simple yet meaningful principles:
Being B Corp does not mean we do everything perfectly.
It means we are willing to measure ourselves and keep improving.
For a family-owned company like ours, with more than sixty years of history, this certification is a way to ensure that we continue to evolve without losing our essence.
We would especially like to thank our teams, suppliers and partners for making this possible. This achievement is collective and reflects a shared effort to improve every stage of our work.
Thank you for making it possible and for being part of this great family. We move forward.

WHAT DOES BEING B CORP MEAN FOR YERSE?
For more than sixty years, we have believed in a more conscious way of designing, producing and growing.
Today, that way of working is backed by a certification that recognises it.
As a B Corp, we are proud to be part of a global community working to drive systemic change through collective action, with one shared goal: promoting an economy that serves people and the planet beyond the product.
"Promoting a slower approach, grounded in craftsmanship, durability and respect for the people and environments that make our work possible."
This is not something new.
It is a way of doing things that has been part of YERSE since 1964.
